Q.  How old were you when you first started playing basketball?

A.  I was 3

Q. What are some of your hobbies outside of basketball?

A.  I like to chill and hang out.


Q.  What is your favorite class in school?

A.   History

Q.  What music are you listening to before a game?

A.  Rock Ross & Wiz Khalifa

Q. What is your favorite food?

A.  Tacos

Q. What college or NBA player do you model your game after?

A.  Stephen Curry

Q.  List goals you've set for this year.

A.  Average 25 ppg and win State.

Q.  Who are the Top 5 colleges recruiting you hardest?

A.  Weber State, Texas State, Bradley, South Alabama & Wichita State.

Q. Who is the best player you went up against all summer?

A.  I played against a lot of good hoopers.

Q.  What is the best conference in college basketball?

A.  Big East

Q.  List the top 6 players in Houston right now.

A.  It's hard to name 6 because there are lots of great ballers in Houston.

Q.  What part of your game needs improvement the most?

A.  Strength

Q.  Who is your favorite NBA player from Houston?

A.  DGib (Daniel Gibson)

Q.  Do you plan on attending any fall camps/clinics?

A.  Not sure yet?

Q.  Who are the top teams in Texas this year?

A.  Houston Yates, Houston Jones, Dallas Kimball, Dallas Lincoln & The Colony

Q.  Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

A.  Hoopin' professionally.

**Fields is a combo guard who can really fill it up.  He shoots the 3 ball, mid range, floaters & attacks the rim with aggression.  His PG skills are currently under rated but he is working hard to sharpen the skills necessary to run a team.

A day after doing this interview with A.W. Robinson he verbally committed to Weber State in the Big Sky, cancelling all other official visits.  He intends to study communication, a major that the Utah school is well respected for. Congratulations to Shai & his family.-Max Ivany **
